Chartered in 1964, CTA C&M Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative.  Credit Unions were founded on the idea that through a cooperative financial effort, individuals sharing common bonds could benefit.  Credit Unions promote thrift, and income is passed along to its members in the form of higher dividends on savings accounts, lower interest on loans, or new and improved services.  We provide banking services to more than 400 members by offering share accounts, and a wide array of loan products. CTA C&M Federal Credit Union is federally insured up to $250,000.00 by the NCUA.


Chicago Transit Authority employees, retirees and their immediate family members, may join the credit union.  It’s easy to join.  Just complete an application card and a minimum savings deposit of $25.00 is required.  The $25.00 establishes your share ownership in the credit union.  Also, current Chicago Transit Authority employees will need to complete a Payroll Deduction Card.
